Professor Mansoob Murshed has been appointed as External Professor of Economics of Conflict and Peace at the ISS. The External Chair on the Economics of Conflict and Peace has been established at the Institute of Social Studies by the Peace Sciences Foundation (Stichting Vredes Wetenschappen).
A similar chair will be established at the University of Utrecht, in the area of Peace Building and the Rule of Law. It is envisaged that both External Chairs will collaborate.
