Municipality of Amsterdam

The Municipality of Amsterdam is the formal holder of the Fund. Until 1961 the Universiteit van Amsterdam fell under the Municipality of Amsterdam.

Universiteit van Amsterdam

After the death of the late Isaac Roet in a Nazi-concentration camp, part of his heritage was brought under the Isaac Roet trust fund, according to his last will. The Isaac Roet trust fund is administered by the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Economists for Peace and Security

The organisation of the Isaac Roet Prize has been delegated to the Dutch/Flemish affiliate of Economists for Peace and Security (EPS). EPS is an international organisation for intellectual exchange among economists concerned with issues related to peace, conflict resolution and international security. On behalf of EPS, Joël van der Beek has been organising the competition since 1994. Joël van der Beek is economist at EconoVision.
